I'm very interested in figuring out the correct process for doing this since I will then be able to determine, find, and download the correct drivers in the future whenever I run into this situation again. I also tried searching for just certain portions of these hardware ID's but also didn't get any results. I have posted the hardware information here: Since I want' quite sure if the first 0 in the device hardware id was actually a zero (0) or the letter O I tried the Google search both ways but didn’t get any results. I tried doing a Google search for the Hardware ID information that I had gotten for the Broadcom driver, but I got absolutely no results. I have posted the screenshots that display that Hardware ID information for these devices. Tribus, I will t take you up on your offer to look up these device drivers for me. The Mass storage and the unknown device might get resolved BOTH by the Chipset driver.

You can use Tribus' recommendation above, and take that information to, and usually get a good hint as to what it is. This laptop has the Windows 7 32 bit operating system installed. This is for a Dell Latitude E6420 laptop. I need to determine exactly which drivers to download from Dell's website (see the attached screenshot). FYI - I just got notification that all Windows 8 drivers for my laptop where release today. Under the 'Application' heading and then the ST Microelectronics- Driver. That one is also under the Windows 7 圆4 drivers. Users also have the choice of upgrading to a 256GB solid state drive for even faster performance.Also just found the Unknown device driver. We were pleased with the Western Digital 7200rpm hard drive benchmark results the drive runs faster than most included in business notebooks, so Windows bootup and program start times will be faster.

The combination of the Intel Core i5-2540M dual-core CPU, Intel HD graphics and 4GB of RAM is run of the mill as far as business notebooks go, but users will be able to multi-task fine, run almost all business applications and related tasks such as word processing, 1080p video, database work, and Web browsing. We would’ve liked to see slightly better specs at this price point, though. The specifications in our review unit are still decent.
